What are Photoshop Actions?

Photoshop Actions are simply generated commands effects that are recorded in Photoshop so you, the user, can re-apply the same effect later on the same or different document. They are very useful when doing repetitive tasks. It makes your life so much easier.

Photoshop Actions ends with a file extension of .atn. Like the Photoshop Brushes, they can be installed in Photoshop by opening the Actions Palette and load them up from there.
